Fade Notes is designed around a simple principle: temporary information should remain temporary.
We aim to collect as little information as possible.
Fade Notes does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or address.
The App does not require a user account to function.
Fade Notes allows you to create and temporarily store content, including:
This content is stored locally on your device for the purpose of providing the App's functionality.
The developer does not receive, access, or store this content on external servers.
Content stored in Fade Notes is designed to expire automatically approximately 24 hours after it is created.
Once content expires, it becomes unavailable within the App and is scheduled for deletion from local storage.
Because iOS controls when certain background operations may run, physical deletion of underlying files may not always occur at the exact moment the 24-hour period ends.
Expired content should nevertheless be treated as deleted and unavailable through the App.
When you choose to take a photo using Fade Notes, the App may request permission to access your device's camera.
